Is It For Me

You can find answers to many of your questions below.

However we want to take the opportunity to address the single most common question we receive.

Whilst we cannot guarantee we will have an equal number of men and women at any of our events, we actively seek dancers both with and without partners...

If you would like further information please contact The Red Shoe via the Contact Us form and you will be contacted by one of the team.

FAQ's

It is often not easy to describe everything about our events on a website, so below we have tried to answer some of the most common questions we get asked when organising an event like this.

1.   What is the dress code?

This is an informal evening, so gents, no need for the penguin suit. Smart dress is the order of the day. Ladies, make the most of your evening and dress to impress! Only a couple of requirements, no jeans or trainers please.

2.   Is it the evening for me?

In a word Yes! We hope to attract all levels of dancers, but this is a social event. Do not feel you have to be "Strictly Come Dancing" calibre - you don't (we certainly aren't!!).

3.   Can I request a particular dance or piece of music?

Yes; however we cannot guarantee that either your choice of music or dance will be played on the night.
